Last weekend at the Nuerburgring 24 Hours Race, the French super sports car brand, Bugatti, took the lead and made its powerful appearance at the toughest endurance race in the world. More than 200,000 visitors along this famous course witnessed a true highlight right at the beginning of the legendary race. Before the ADAC Zurich 24h Race at the Nuerburgring officially started, two Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesses (1) led the pack of the 175 competing race cars to run a lap of honor. Wolfgang Duerheimer, President of Bugatti Automobiles S.A.S., joined the celebration and was behind the wheel of the 1,200 HP Vitesse World Record Car that set the world speed record for open-top production sports cars at a top speed of 408.84 km/h (254.04 mph) last year.
